Meet the Instructors
Pendekkar Jeff Denson is a 4th degree black belt in the art of Poekoelan Tjimindie Tulen and has over 18 years of training and teaching experience. He is a dynamic and powerful instructor with a big heart.
Pendekkar Silvia Smart is a 4th degree black belt and has been teaching and training Poekoelan Tjimindie Tulen for 20 years. She is also a certified Tulen Self-Defense instructor. Pendekkar Silvia finds great joy in sharing this life-changing art and has a special place in her heart for the kids. Pendekkar Jeff and Pendekkar Silvia have two children, Mas Emilia (12) and Mas Henry (10). Tulen Center in Southwest Portland is a labor of love for Silvia and Jeff.
